Making Good First Impressions On A Date
No matter how good-looking or smart or charming you are, if you don’t know how to treat your date the first time you meet, you won’t be getting the call for the second date. So how do you make someone feel “special” and impress him/her in the very first date? Read on for some tips.
Get A Little Personal
Show genuine interest in the person and ask for more details on things they are talking about. But beware, getting personal doesn’t mean talking about ex-lovers or dates or negative experiences or family secrets. Keep it light and yet specific. If he is interested into sports, talk about his favorite player, any recent matches that he’s been to, etc. If she mentions something in passing, come back to it later in the conversation to show that you are listening. You might have exchanged some correspondence before you actually met, so make references to things you have emailed about earlier and go into depth about it. It shows your date you are really interested and paying attention. It creates a sense of intimacy, which is a good start.
